Had a good adventure time exploring water reservoirs above Farnham, former army camps.

the sun caught me short and set down about 4ish/5ish left me wandering in dark for most of my journey till like seven.

supposed to be a research for my current project ‘Place’

well i was looking for it but hadn’t really found it, but at least could put my new D600 and new (old) 35mm f1.4 nikkor through a test

so here you go folks 🙂

continuing the adventures of the fish print- now being reborn into a simple book

so, my dears, ]here’s the thing

point of this whole piece (as similar to the film) is the idea of reciprocity of displacement, layers of meanings, DE-construction, death and madness (you know what i mean wen you see photo of the fishermen

magazine for this project was picked up more or less randomly with the aim of the highest amount of pretty pictures. (of fish)

there is a dada page, then a collage of a genocide of innocent fish, mr scruffs most amazing and genius song and a typo fishies….

and a deep soul searching double page where you are supposed to stare into the soul of the fish, the mad fella, and yourself.

so……my post apocalyptic idea is quite deppresing

 

inspired by mad max, borderlands, events in chernobyl, cormac McCarthys the road, thx 1138, fallout saga,  and brave new world

my lovely little dystopia is based on the idea, that it’s not important what has had happened, simply because it was so long time ago, no one really remembers and because wast parts of society went either shit, non existent-or completely mad and re-wrote all that possibly could be rewritten.

so we have nice skag fellas running arount like dogs on steroids through the wastelands, and fascist like communities living in secret hide-outs/vaults (i really wanted to avoid this not to copy fallout, but…the word is so perfect 😀 )/ bunkers according to the ideal society of brave new worls & thx 1138

so…here i got some moodboards with pretty pictures from all that mentioned above and my beloved model, actor, performer and flatmate James posing for you in my (at the time unfinished creation)
